XXVIII. MWIA International Congress,
Münster/Germany 28-31 July 2010
The XXVIII. MWIA International Congress 2010 will be organized by the German Medical Women's Association.
The Theme of the Conference is
Globalisation in Medicine - Challanges and Opportunities
The program will include sessions on:
- Nutrition (lifestyle diseases, over-, under- and malnutrition)
- Addiction (Drugs, alcohol, etc., internet and gambling addiction, etc.)
- Epidemic plagues (both communicable e.g. AIDS, Malaria, TB, HPV and noncommunicable e.g. diabetes, heart disease)
- Primary health care
- Gender Strategies (leadership, gender mainstreaming, empowerment, gender based violence, adolescent sexuality)
A range of workshops will also be offered. Proposed topics include:
- Women's health
- Leadership
